Black Dog Salvage is proud to introduce the Txtur Furniture Gallery, offering furniture sustainably made right here in Roanoke, Virginia.
For over 87 years, Frank Chervan Inc., a third-generation family-owned company has been designing and making high-quality commercial and hospitality furnishings for private labels. Txtur is a new chapter for this American furniture manufacturer, bringing furniture direct-to-consumer with a thoughtful high-end furniture experience at a palatable price point.

Quality and Durability
In keeping with the company’s devotion to quality and durability, Txtur has partnered exclusively with two of the top names in upholstery materials.
Textile-upholstered items feature all Crypton Home performance fabrics, while leather pieces feature Moore and Giles aniline died leathers. Designers enrolled in Txtur’s trade program will also be offered the option of COM (customer’s own material).
Customize
Every item is customizable. Over 100 fabric choices, Over a dozen leather options, Over 20 wood/metal finishes, Over 15 belting color options, 5 linoleum tabletop colors.
Upcycle
In a world of overflowing landfills and an abused environment, Txtur is stepping up to do the right thing.
Each year, Americans throw out more than 12 million tons of furniture and furnishings, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Txtur has taken the effort to design each piece of furniture with deconstruction in mind for future recycling. When you are ready to retire your Txtur furniture, simply return and receive a store credit for a future purchase.
The Txtur production team completely remanufactures the recycled materials into Upcycled furniture. Every surface of the product is renewed by refinishing and upholstery. Major material components are then saved for their next life.
Enjoy our furniture for as long as it makes you happy. And when you want a change or are moving to another place, we take it back for credit on something for your new look or your new place. In turn we take your piece back and upcycle the valuable materials into a ‘like new’ piece of furniture.
