*General mailings are considered mailing to a general population with news about Black Dog Architectural Salvage. Specific mailings are specific to the individual clients, such as inquiry replies, specific service performed or products purchased. Protection

Certain personal information is more critical than others, such as individual social security numbers, or credit card numbers. All processing done for Black Dog Salvage, Inc. is done by third-party providers in order to process a charge. For this reason, we use the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt personal information so that it cannot be accessed by unauthorized people. In any case, we will never ask for your social security number. In some cases, certain clients may ask us to keep their credit card information on file to facilitate future payments or purchases. However, due to new credit card laws, we are NOT able to keep your credit card number on file.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific task are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
