Rock Haven is a heartfelt music event located at The Dog Bowl behind Black Dog Salvage in Roanoke, Virginia. This one-day celebration of music, food, and fun aims to support traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivors and their families by raising awareness and funds for a local organization: Brain Injury Solutions.

Organized by the Rotary Club of the Blue Ridge, Rock Haven has quickly established itself as an important annual fundraiser that not only provides entertainment but also creates meaningful support for those impacted by traumatic brain injuries. The event continues to honor the personal journey that inspired its creation – the story of Rylie and her family’s experience with TBI – by connecting the community and raising crucial resources for survivors.
Rylie suffered a severe TBI on November 7th, 2020, during a biking accident at Falling Creek Bike Park in Bedford. After undergoing emergency surgery and intensive rehabilitation, Rylie and her family experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating life post-TBI. Their experience highlighted the crucial need for specialized support and resources for TBI survivors and their families. Brain Injury Solutions plays a vital role in the community by offering free case management services and additional support to TBI survivors across a vast area of Southwest Virginia. Their mission is to help individuals with brain injuries improve their quality of life and successfully reintegrate into their families and communities.
Rock Haven aims to create a fun and meaningful event that will not only entertain attendees but also contribute to enhancing the lives of TBI survivors in the Roanoke area. By supporting these organizations, the event will help provide essential resources, guidance, and hope to those affected by traumatic brain injuries.
