Mix It Up!
Cheers! Raise a glass to February’s rich palette of cozy fireside colors!
February’s palette – Winter Deeps — is all about the warmth of home. February is a cold month in the Midwest where I grew up. I now live in the southwest mountains of Virginia, but the second month of the year here can be as brutal as south west Michigan. This palette of colors reminds me of toasty fires, my Grandmother’s pecan pie hot out of the oven, the tall pines that lined the farm house drive, a relaxing glass of wine after coming in from tending the horses, and the red barn standing all alone in the snow covered field. Warm, loving memories of simpler times.
Creating new recipes is a labor of love for me. A gift I share with you. The beauty of our paint line is that I can continue to create new colors for your painting enjoyment, but you too can create new colors for the line. When you create a new color please send me your recipe. Your recipe may find its way into our next collection of colors.
Try your hand at mixing it up!
