Introducing "Downtime with the Dawgs"
Who: Bob Timberlake, the internationally acclaimed realist painter and designer from Lexington, NC will welcome the Black Dog Salvage crew to his beloved hometown to salvage a shuttered industrial building before selective demolition, preservation, redevelopment, and recycling. Historic Lexington Furniture Plant #1 is located in Lexington’s emerging Depot District. What: Downtime with the Dawgs! A chance for the public to Meet & Greet with the cast of Salvage Dawgs following a full day of salvaging, and hear from a local expert about historic Lexington Furniture Plant #1 and the people that worked there. When: Tuesday, November 15th, 6-9 PM – private meet & greet for CREW club members from 5pm-6pm Where: Bull City Ciderworks, 599 S. Railroad Street, Lexington, NC 27292 Admission is free. Hot food and beverages will be available for purchase. Why: A portion of the proceeds from sales of salvage during the event will benefit American Legion Post 8.
